Blizzard will probably announce it before that happens, and if it’s like the Diablo Immortal alpha, don’t expect your progress to carry over to the final release of the game, so curtail your potential gear farming, lest it be lost to the void. There is also no date for the Technical Alpha yet, so just keep an eye on your email for the indefinite future for when those invites may go out. Diablo 4 is still likely to be a few years away, however, and Blizzard is hoping these interim projects can tide everyone over until that game is released. Between this and the likely release of Diablo Immortal this year, Blizzard will probably be making a ton of money from Diablo-related things that are not Diablo 4, though they did show off a new class, the Rogue, yesterday, a blend of the Amazon, Demon Hunter and Assassin from past games.
